I am losing my grip. I started to laugh... when suddenly my eyes and nose started to burn and my heart went all squeezy... tears tried to come. I got seized with critter love in the face of what we're doing to their world. I need to go to town. I need to sleep. I have been up and down so many times in the last 24 hours that I'm too pooped to peep, but also to sleep. I just hate it when it gets like this.

They don't show what the side of the car and windows look like!
ReplyDeleteYes, but... we can imagine....
ReplyDeleteActually I don't have to imagine, I just have to go out front and look at my car.
ReplyDeleteOne of the primary causes for canine cataracts is letting them ride in the car with their head out the window.
ReplyDeleteDidn't know that... I guess they'll have to ride like this now.
ReplyDeleteThanks
I didn't know it either, until my vet told me about it that is. Unfortunately, she was also telling me that my lab has cataracts :(.
ReplyDeleteBummer.
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine took in a nearly blind dog she found hanging around the dumpster at her work. The dog was given the name Rags based on the decrepit condition she was found in. Once cleaned up Rags became a happy dog despite her handicap. As time went on she became totally blind but still was able to navigate her surroundings by touch. We gave her the nickname of Bumper Car. One night she got out the door when no one noticed. After missing for two days she found her way back home.
