You know, I can't take credit for it, but I did help popularize ZZ on the vast and inscrutable system of pipes and I am heartily sorry for my thoughtlessness there. He was so entertaining, and always putting an outside-the-box slant on done-to-death hunks of phenomenal flotsam, and it was a giggle and a baby stab toward liberating minds... or so I consoled myself at the time.
But then he just turned it into, not better work, but more pandering for popularity, and his name left these precincts. Now, years on from even that, he's turned into a complete monster. Worse than not worth the effort to deal with his accent/speech impediment. All he is left giving the world is hollow and extremely annoying vanity.
I clicked it off moments after Julian's opening words, unable to endure ZZ another minute. I then went to listen to a young man from Canada who is trying to wake up. Except, vanity again, he's trying to do it in a leadership role, and he's blathering on about how you have to turn from a student to a teacher at some point.
When I started screaming, "Yes, you bloody well do, but NOT before you can stop nattering on about yourself and your moronic ideas for three quarters of any intersection you might have with the rest of us," I had to click him off too. Fuck.
