I know it's a fuck ton of work to make the switches in diet, but, well, you want to know what you are doing to yourself, what you are passing up for your convenience. It gets easier, and every day there are more great recipes online for making the food you love without killing yourself to satisfy those urges.

Don't put this off. I'm not kidding. It's a lot of doctor speak, but Ferriss manages to clarify as they go along, and even as I already know this stuff they're talking about, it still nailed me.

Yes, yes, life's too short to pass on your pints of ice cream or Twinkies or pasta or bread or those killer chemical chips you can't bear to stop eating until they're all gone, but... that is making it shorter and waaaay more miserable. Quality of life, baby, quality of life. If you want a high quality old age, you will buckle down here and listen.
