That email is dated four DAYS before Scalia died... and if I remember correctly, that's about how long he'd been at his little retreat... or was going to be....

Who in all Washington, DC would you have thought could have the most on Hillary? If you're paying attention, you're seeing all the moles she had in possible rivals' offices, but how many did she have in other enemies' offices? Or are you not driven to the wall by references to wet work in a top politico's use of jargon?

Drop everything.

WTF just happened here?

...

No. REALLY. Podesta to Elmendorf mentions "wet works" [slang for assassination] and then Elmendorf to Podesta six hours later, "I'm all in." Out of any context, out of nowhere, that sounds EXACTLY like someone telling someone else to put an assassination team in motion.

I'm serious as a heart attack.

I hope somebody who knows their shit can make sure that little message was completely out of any exculpatory context, but it looks for all the world like Podesta telling Elmendorf that it's a go for an assassination.

Just looks like a snide joke about wet works not being pool parties, but the reply is pretty much confirmation it was no such thing. That's ALMOST plain English for "the hit is on; okay, I read you" and it's creeeeeeeepy.

always and any time....
