The physical pole is moving with the magnetic one. THAT is the climate weirding. You know I have been griping about the sun not being where it's supposed to be for some years now. While I was up at Tahoe, on Billy's back deck with the gorgeous view, my problem about Orion being so much more lying on his side than I ever remembered came up again.
I remembered what BB2 and others have told me about Orion being in the southern sky, and watching it rise above the mountains every night, I remarked about how that direction is south. Billy freaked out and said, "NO! That's EAST. The sun comes up there every morning!" I settled his hash by ceding that it was probably southeast and left it at that.
This morning I got a message from a friend of mine who has been installing solar panels for twenty years. He told me he is known in the business as the human Solmetric Suneye. He insists the sun is moving. That settles it. The poles are moving.
Turns out I'm not the only one....
