All along, you couldn't have paid him enough money to be president. He would have resigned before the election if he'd been nominated. He would have announced a sudden need to live out his days on Antarctica if they'd tried to make him the nominee.
I don't know if Trump volunteered for this or was forced, but you might forgive him if he seems a little shaky... or... if you don't, you probably don't have the insight to be able to follow me here.
