But I do. Too many business people go out of business before they try raising their prices to astronomical sums. It, of course, matters where you do this, though less so now with online sales, but it has an amazingly high success rate.
I always like to cite the time a developer built a bunch of houses on some land jutting into the bay across from Sausalito. He marked up for the usual profit margin once they were built, but they were not selling. Right before he went bankrupt, he hiked the prices up ten times higher. All the houses sold for the new price lightning fast.
But it works on yuppies too. It has worked on snobs throughout all history.
