Did they factor in how many more people would move here for this, legal or not? I also wonder how many state officials and functionaries any of you have ever met. I've met maybe more than most, and it was NOT the least reassuring. I met Willie Brown when he was Speaker of the House and was flummoxed by how he managed to immediately make me feel as though I were royalty, but even that, of course, isn't a good thing. Otherwise, it's outright terrifying how dimwitted some of these people truly are. No wonder we have to let the oligarchy make all the rules.
Nothing would get done without them.
