Get it straight. Since the revolution put the ayatollahs in charge, lying is not part of Iran's policy. Not any of it. Not foreign and not domestic. We might not love it, but lying is not their bag. On the world stage, words from official Iran should be taken seriously, and if you think they're lying, you should immediately suspect yourself of having been lethally mindfucked.
