...

After all my freaking about impossible temperatures today, the sight of it is pretty depressing. It's almost midnight and it's finally down to 73º. Big whoop. It was about 73º at 9am this morning, too. I can't go sit in the ocean to cool off because I burn to a crisp in, like, ten minutes.

So if it's this awful again tomorrow, and they say it will be, I'm going to go sit the river where the trees shade it.

...

It's tooth hurtie in the morning and 70º.

I have no clothes on.

...

It hasn't dropped below 70º in here, no matter what the pipes try to spew, and 'round about 5am a vicious wind kicked up and I closed my windows. You will note the humidity is way up from yesterday's abysmal numbers, and there are green leaves blown off of trees and bushes all over.

I've opened back up in here to try to get the inside temperature down another degree or two.

I still have no clothes on.

If it hits 84º today, if the humidity stays up, it's going to be waaaay worse than yesterday, despite the numbers. I sure hope that wind just blew out the heat wave, but that would be too kind.

...

Since there's been no sleeping, you might, by now be thinking I've spent every waking moment on this little weather emergency obsession, but, no, I have been collecting up more pictures of John Trudell and crying over the loss of him, too.

pipe up any time....
