I came within an inch of owning a place in that wooded area just above Lake Earl and facing out to the sea. I would have had the pounding of the surf to soothe me, but maybe there'd've been a day when I got pounded a little harder than I'd had in mind.
Too close to Pelican Bay Prison anyway and it took me long enough to shake the misery waffling off that complex as it is, and I'm much safer on higher ground. Still, everybody up here has tsunami warning instructions posted on their walls for quick reference.
