It's all the driving... not nerves... right? So I'm getting in bed and leaving this malarky on down low to try to even out the noise around here. Good wifi, though, for a cheap motel, and nice owners.
The lake looks like chai tea. The pool looks bleak. The firemen are coming in and sleeping in shifts. Everybody, except me and the proprietors and the delivery lady for my "dinner", is surly and businesslike or got their heads plugged into feetball games or hiphop, trying to forget they're in this particular moment in their lives.
