It's almost everybody. Billy could call me from Stinson last night, but Jim couldn't from Fort Bragg. I can't call anything but local and almost nothing up here is local. I can't call the court. I can't make other urgent calls. And this means maybe a big swath of the calls I'm expecting are not coming because of the same ordeal.
Firefighting efforts are being SEVERELY impacted by burnt cell towers. I'd be more sympathetic to all this if not for the fact that people have been SCREAMING bloody murder about this exact thing with our emergency personnel for a couple decades. Nobody listened. Nobody has RADIOS in their trucks anymore.
They don't listen about the power or internet going out at grocery stores either.
THEY DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT US... EVEN IF, TECHNICALLY, THEY ARE US.
