Also struck me that I had to make my bluesy playlist not jump out at me too hard, so I had to take off a bunch of them that just got too fuckin' loud'n fancy on the guitar or too upbeat about the blues. I'm most bummed about the Alvin Lee removal because it's perfection itself until toward the end, where he just has to do his Woodstock bit and dazzle everyone that he can play faster'n yer synapses can fire. Shit. If I were any good at video editing or whatever, I'd just chop that part off.
I mean, the whole point of doing it was to have something to slightly lift the general misery of the time and let me, you, us just cruise a little, maybe not dip too low... so... so I toughened up and took some out and put more in.

Strikes me I didn't listen long enough to some of the wannabes on my playlist. Some of them are good. Some good enough. Some just end up sucking and the music gets too heavy to compensate. So, dammit, I'm allowing the merely okay if the instruments don't get to be too much, but I'm gonna be ruthless on that shit.
I'll do up to eleven and full tilt for Joe, but when I say "bluesy"... dammit... that's what I mean.
