Why is it that everything I determine is perfect for me is ridiculously expensive? Like, I can walk straight to the one thing in any store that I would like to own, and it almost unerringly is the most expensive thing there. I remember once feeling pleased that it turned out to be only the second most expensive thing, but whenever I really get worked up for something that needs purchasing, which thank heavens is not often, it's too fucking much money?
