And, you know, beside the mortifying encounter with someone who was in charge of making California budget changes back when we were publicly insolvent, I also got a gander at the investments CalPERS was making back in 2014, which nearly caused all my teeth to fall out next to my eyeballs on my desk. So... this comes as no surprise to me at all.
