Still looking for excuses.
In short, Trump's "draconian" sanctions, which will be delayed for months, have extensive loopholes, and allow most of Iran's existing oil trade partners to continue buying oil, may be just a big smokescreen that will allow Trump to say he achieved one more campaign promise. Meanwhile, in reality, both Trump and Mnuchin are doing their best behind the scenes to "enter a new agreement", one which Trump can bring to the masses and say: "here, I took Obama's unacceptable, defective deal, and made it better.... and I also brought down the price of oil too."
The only thing that still points to any allegiance with the insider resistance is more to be found in the blunders, and if this is not a giveaway to Israel and Saudi Arabia, it is Donald looking for excuses to break other costly deals.

You know, our economy has been being held together with chewing gum and at the point of our guns. We're way beyond bankrupt long since, and the petrodollar is tanking. As far as I can remember since my life went on Tilt-A-Whirl, Nosbaracktu really only returned the frozen Iranian accounts money, maybe the one decent thing he did in office. So in the best case scenario this has only been Donny thumbing his nose at his predecessor, and cutting psychopath global control mechanisms that are both heinous and expensive as fuck....

Except that the psychopaths are happy about it, because it was also a giveaway to Israel and Saudi Arabia. He did not ruin their destabilization efforts by making this big surly empty gesture... probably didn't even faze one Western business of any moment, will now have a perfect excuse to stop subsidizing allies on our dime in order to make them help the psychopaths' big project, but did he do anything to actually impede it? No.

The fear has been out there than someone will smuggle a nuke into Iran and set off WWIII. How did his move change that? It didn't. And what will it do to stop the braying for war if/when that happens or is false flagged into looking like it has happened? Nothing. And even if you assign him as good a motive as I could think up, we're still going to have to watch just how far they can continue to take our military without him, now won't we?

However, it heartens me to think of what Putin is telling Netanyahu about what will happen to him in Syria when he makes too bold.

...

Of course, Netanyahu will have known to get his licks in before he'd get the word.

pipe up any time....
