Mostly structure fires in Redding, Eureka, Orick, but a vegetation fire off 299 near Hawkins Bar spread to structures. I think they're all out, but I know it started cooling just about at the unbearable point yesterday, and it's 58º now instead of 68º at a similar time yesterday, so... so I get why PG&E did this, but seems to me to be asking for even more trouble than before... stupider rather than smarter management of public wellbeing.
