Are houses really that much more flammable than trees that the trees would remain when there's only powder left of the houses? Really? I mean, especially pine, whose sap explodes in fire? If there's any new normal, it's continually seeing this burn pattern. It's true that we usually only see the charred remains of buildings the fire department actively came and hosed out, but... well... seriously, man, this is weird.
