I wonder what the world would be like if we had elevated really good herbalists instead of really clueless chemists for our relief from malign bacteria and viruses. What if bugs never could learn how to become immune to attack by any of our strange concatenations of essential oils as they do to our unnatural concoctions? What if real progress were just to make real remedies more widely available instead of making the chemistry depart from what was always right here?
