this immediately harked me back to rosa parks' funeral

How I sat here wishing the politicians there would be lynched. As some of you know, THE best moment in the entire, hours long, observance was the beautiful Farrakhan, and all my love forever to Agent BB2 for grabbing it for me and uploading it to YouBube so I can listen all I want.

...

I see somebody uploaded the clip with the visuals and the audio in one. It was just about the most awesome moment in television or even radio history, and while the audio is sublime, looking at him doing it adds plenty. Since it was first delivered live, I reckon I've listened to it no fewer than thirty times and it STILL makes me blubber like a toddler heaving over not getting her way.

The very first time I heard it, as it was happening, I could feel the ancients lined up on their buddha seats behind him, and the buddhas of the ten directions in all parts of the entire cosmos smiling down on him, and on me... for understanding with perfect exactitude all that he was saying, recognizing it transcending all religion, Farrakhan telling THE truth.

Though I remember decades ago entertaining the notion that there might be no such thing as truth, I did fairly quickly pass that stage of idiocy, because of COURSE there is. Most of us are just too puny to tell it. There's nothing puny about Farrakhan. I don't care how many gallons of the oceans of lies about him you have swallowed. He picked up his cross and followed The Truth.
