It's a five-part series, at least so far, and I'm finding I am very seriously more of a listener than a reader, and I have been a monster reader and writer my whole life.
Just a monster who can't seem to shake her notion that the last advanced civilization on earth was radically more sophisticated in chemistry and things like sound waves for power... not interested in fabricating plastics and metals or circuitry so much as using more natural alternatives to full advantage.
I just can't shake the feeling that they were waaaay ahead of us.
I'm going to try to buckle down to this at last and see if Randall's anywhere near on the same page.
