As you well know, I do not hold with the death penalty, and, as I was tempted to mention last night, when I was reminding you that a steady flow of immigrant inmates is how California guarantees it can be very liberal about inmates without pissing off one of their major funding sources. This is the silver lining of the essentially immovable "liberal" racism that is turning California into, say, Chile B.

None of which, obviously, mitigates for the ongoing travesty that is this "sanctuary state" horse shit. We want killers behind bars. We want criminals off the streets. We don't want to stock our state with cheap labor and the squalor that comes with it, and we don't want brown people used as fodder for prison beds and called off search and rescue missions.
