We all know that OBL didn't do 9/11. We all know that he was dead of his own illness before the end of 2001. We all know that the supposed killing of OBL by SEAL Team Six was complete horse shit from start to finish, and that the SEALs who would be able to testify to that were killed shortly after the OBL raid that did not happen. We all know all of that. We don't need to belabor it.
What I don't understand is why Sy Hersh is coming out with this complete twaddle now. Can his vaunted high level sources inside really be needing to muddy things further so badly they would pick on him to get 'er done? Why? Is someone not wanting this issue dropped in the hope that it will break loose some proof they haven't managed to burn yet? WTF?
Has Hersh gone senile? Does he believe it? Is he being so haughty and rude to cover his deep existential humiliation over being forced to crank out pure twaddle? Or is he so impressed with his status as someone with insider connections that he will in good faith believe every bit of tripe they whisper to him?
