I spent a lot of money today, which always frightens me, but it was stuff like filling my gas tank, carwash, stock up on injun smokes, FOOD. ALL but the carwash substantially less than they were a few months ago.
Still, one big blast, more'n three hunnert in one fell swoop.
Would've been more'n four hunnert if I'd done it in California.
Pain level mostly upper-middling-achy, with a couple blasts of relief.
Senility level witless, with blasts of sentience.
I'm here swetting and puffing from hauling stuff in, but the notion that the spiders living in the door hinges of my car are totally fucked up now from blasting 'em with car wash chemicals is giving me a little burst of restorative satisfaction.
I think it's time we all admit that the maniacs with their fancy satellite rays may have passed up our already outmoded ideas of what is doable from the surface of the earth and from space. This fellow patiently explains AND doesn't prattle for an hour to get 'er done.

It's fair. I've tried to remind myself that Italian experts have come out with the BEST interpretations of some hotly-debated situations in my day. Recognition that Faul is NOT Paul; Gulf Stream problems from the horrific oil "leak" more than ten years back; hydrogen peroxide killing cancer; Giancarlo Giannini... so the effort to be fair is fair.
Nothing about this settles the absolute nature of the missing sphinx.
