They don't care AT ALL that he had sex with a minor. They're mad because, having pled and protected the girl's mother, spending the agreed amount of time in jail, the judge changed his mind about the sentencing. In the United States, judges don't get to do that, but NOT if you ask the psychopaths. Snub them and you will regret it for the rest of time. Beside knowing all about his sexual appetites from Sharon's family long before this train wreck, I do not forget that he was a successful film director and stage mothers were vying with each other to foist their teenyboppers on him.
I don't excuse it, but I also know he was not weird in his proclivities there. I've seen too many middle-aged men gaping longingly at Olympic gymnasts and ice skaters that age not to know that he only did it because he could... because he had permission, even from his wife and in-laws... and, truly, in a twisted sense, he was the hero of the situation... took the lumps that were designed to spare everyone the worst and curtail his indulgences, but wasn't up for becoming a trophy against LA's worsening reputation for being lenient with the stars.
That was his crime, and I don't think any country on earth should extradite him, let alone Poland. In fact, I think it is a great sign on the geopolitical chessboard that Poland declines to oblige the psychopaths in this. Maybe it indicates they're not completely willing to help them split Germany off from Russia when they get their next world war.
Which, pardon me, is wise because little that could be put there would impede that nowadays anyway, and the Poles are not as stupid as the old jokes loved to put about. At least I can dream they're not....

Just a last-minute reminder that they've completed the Putin/Hollande press conference transcript, which is worth all our eyeprints, because doesn't matter WHAT form you take in our leaders' words, they're lies anyway. Putin never puts out anything that isn't true. He may avoid certain crucial bits when it's not going to serve Russia's best interests, but what he says always turns out to be true. Lavrov too. I reiterate, THIS is how decent and competent people behave in positions of public trust, and it benefits everyone on earth. Not just Russians.
Psychopaths only mindfuck and frighten people with lies. True humans edify and empower people with truth.
