So I bought a one-pound bag of veterinary aspirin for under ten bucks. Just plain aspirin. Powdered. No toxic buffers or fillers. Just aspirin powder. If something hurts, which is far, far, far, waaay far less often since I stopped eating grains, I just lick a little pile of aspirin off my hand and chase it down with some water or coffee. In minutes the pain is gone.
