I got ten hours last night by the grace of a chill pill. I have just now been given a reprieve from what was shaping up to be another unlivably hot day. The fog came in before the temperature got up over the mid-seventies out there this morning.

It hit 82º for about a half hour yesterday, but otherwise it was 81º here from two to seven, and the last two overnight lows didn't drop below 66º, which requires all doors and windows open here or definitely no sleep, even with a chill pill.

I think I should call UCSF and mention I suspect sleep disorders have some connection to whacky internal thermostats because, while I've always had this circus going on, it never got this far out of hand until after my already whacky thermostat tilted out at menopause.
