Because I have not been paying scrupulous attention, but when Erdoğan fired the general and apologized to Putin, that told me that it is the Turkish MILITARY that is controlled by the psychopaths. The psychopaths are the paymasters of all the Islamist factions supposedly fighting for Sharia Law, but really just fighting because it's a paycheck. So it would have been the Turkish military, on their own, facilitating all that ISIS commerce through Turkey and shooting down the Russian plane.
This would explain why Erdoğan seemed to go full bore radical dictator suddenly... trying to get back in control of Turkey... weeding out psychopath-controlled factions. Maybe he didn't do a thorough enough job, or maybe he did but the psychopaths offered SO much money and perks for a coup, nobody could pass it up.
I don't know. Just remember that whatever's coming over mainstream news is always a lie. Not even the people doing the reporting understand that, most of the time.

One monsterly pertinent data point right here... not whistling Dixie... and the fact that Erdoğan could come on tv and tell the people to get out in the streets and stop the coup, and they did, is another. So it's leaning heavily to rogue psychopath-controlled faction in the military.
Still, it makes me crazy to see how many people have eaten the popular media shtick hook, line and sinker. That's when world wars are ignited.
