For any who were thinking I was being a bitch about the Oroville Dam thing, this image and this image are proof positive that dam was in no danger of failing.
Yeah, the main spillway thing sucketh extremely, and, yeah, the erosion from the emergency spillway was ugly. Yeah, not pretty, man, but objectively no chance of dam failure short of a direct missile hit.
