There is ONE thing you must not fail to take away from this: There are places on this earth where our smartassery and exceptionalism are NOT appreciated even a little... that would be almost every country on it. And some of those are just crazy enough to get this vivid about it.
Drop everything you've been trained to think about this stuff for a few minutes, and consider this one fact. Are there even any countries left who are glad to see Americans when we show up?
