I bet you thought sanctions were about penalizing regimes who get in our way. No. They're about insuring only the big boys can flourish off them. After all, if Your Average Joe Business were able to do business with Russia or Iran, it would siphon profit off to a middle class. Can't have humans thriving. Only psychopaths. So the psychopaths bribe our agencies to make sure they don't regain their morals.
