Just because they might be local fresh eggs, if they're from grain fed chickens, they're not nutritious, not even tasty. Sure, they weren't nuked before they got to you, but, still, it's not worth the money. You're looking for eggs from real free range local chickens, preferably ones who get to scratch around in the compost pile.
You could, if it came down to it, stay perfectly healthy on a diet of raw cow's milk and chicken eggs, as long as the animals were grass-fed, free range, natural as possible on this planet.
