Did ANY of you even entertain for a moment that it was in any wise true? I discounted it immediately because I am certain neither Julian nor Volodya would ever do something that provocative in light of the current state of the Grand Chessboard. I mean, you've even heard me lamenting it, but neither of those men even entertains such fairytale notions. They are serious about a better world... not more serious than I am, but with much higher stakes.
