Mojtaba Khamenei: Iran’s new Supreme Leader, wounded in the same strike that killed his father, did not appear publicly due to security concerns.
there are all sorts of videos of the huge crowds out for the duration of the week-long funeral, and i watched a lot of them — i think maybe approaching zara's casket is what did in most of the men in attendance — medvedev seemed to me to be very close to tears — but you can just google up "khamenei funeral videos" and see for yourself
