We have to fix this stuff.
I can't take the war news anymore. I can't take the pushbutton revolution news anymore. I can't abide political blather anymore. I can't keep posting about all the horrifically awful things going on forever and ever. I can't be a person who keeps flashing the symbols of my ideals and my loyalties. I'm loyal to life, to sentient being, to truth. I don't have to associate myself with ANY of those things. I am those things.
