I am understanding why Jack White got in there with The Edge and Jimmy Page. There's a certain completeness about transcendent guitar... more even than uniqueness.... It's full. It doesn't whine for validation. It's not trying to behave itself. It behaves itself according only to what it is. Not many get there. I don't like this music at all, but I like that guitar.
