I have been thinking about it. It's possible I could achieve the kind of silence and serenity I need if I were up high enough. I've always wanted the convenience of city life, but cities make me crazy. I feel everyone around me and I stop being able to go to sleep at all. I lived in San Francisco for a few months when I was 21 and could not take it. Had to ask the doctor for some knockout pills and I had to get my ass outta there. But that was in a garden apartment in Pacific Heights. Ground level. Maybe way up there it would be a different story?
