I have not thought it could be a UFO crashed in the sea. I almost posted a piece about it a couple days ago, but it was so all over the map I didn't have the spit for it. It was mentioned therein that the whole thing seemed to be perched on a pedestal, mushroom-like. This didn't detract from the joshing about space aliens, but I thought it a salient bit to include here.
I think this is vindicating Michael Tsarion's work and think it's exciting news.
