It seems surreal to me. Do the aftermath photos look right to you? They don't look blackened. They look too neat. What is this? Is this how it looks when there's no attempt to fight off the conflagration? And what's with the shots where fingers of burn raze houses between houses and bushes unscathed? This looks completely unfamiliar to me. Is it only in California where we make a gawdawful mess of wildfires? Or is this something completely new?
