I bought a chicken, made lemon chicken for dinner and then did the whole thing from scratch, which is the only way you can do it now and keep the toxin level down to a minimum. I mean, the chicken's going to have hormones in it and antibiotics and was probably fed with all manner of mutagens, and the celery and potatoes and onions and garlic are going to at the minimum have been watered with fluoridated water, but, heck, at least yer not adding GMO corn syrup to it with canned stock, and maybe you can remember to take your vitamins with it....
