I was darn worried that Russia would let itself be seen to be persuaded by the psychopaths at the G8. Maybe even Snowden helped convince them that their EFFORTS to resolve things in a friendly manner are never not abused. And it is nice to SEE the Russian people support them.
I support them. I notice lots and lots of other Americans supporting them too. I've heard a few of us now wishing aloud that Putin were our president. Seriously. I don't care what kind of iron-fisted authoritarian you think he is, he's a demonstrably more patriotic American than anyone in our government.
