We cannot discount this point of view. Sorry. We just can't. It is abundantly clear that they can make stuff up out of whole cloth and convince us all it happened. It might even have been the kind of backstory they think Putin will fall for, trying to inoculate him with a nice raft of disinfo so they can pull something off without him staring down his barrel at them. We can't tell from here.
You can't forget that part.
I can make a good case for a genuine Snowden to have eluded capture in Hong Kong, but can also make a good one for that one point being too unbelievable. It all hinges on just how good enough people could have been at making connections undetectable in real time and then unrecordable thereafter. If Snowden is who he says he is, he very believably could be good enough at that. The speed with which he went from barely being in touch with Wikileaks to placing his life in their hands is also up for consideration, but it could all just be about trying to get a leaker into Russia without everyone leaping to the conclusion that Putin is declaring war on us.
We all know that he didn't just put Assange under Russia's protection because he can't be seen to be provoking the psychopaths, and we all know that Russia or maybe China are really the only places anyone wanted by the psychopaths might have a chance of living to old age. So. So I just fall back on my earlier assertion that in these cases one has to just realize that belief in any of this has to be provisional.
They have made it so that it cannot be any other way.
That is why they need to be brought down.
...
AND IT MAY IN FACT JUST BE RUSSIA AND CHINA BRINGING THEM DOWN....
...
JEAN LUC PUTIN IS UP TO IT.
