The tubes are full of nothing or empty of something. Someone cut the main cable to my area last night after the bars closed, and so I was dead in the water for twelve hours or so. But it didn't seem to make a difference. It was not a Murphy thing where my connection goes down and everything in the world happens while I can't find out about it. The world was just as full of empty as before the outage.
I just listened to Jeff Rense TALKING to Jay Weidner about the state of things, and Weidner brought up the warring factions in the PTB thing. I remember feeling it at work back when the Ted Haggard thing broke. There was a bunch of other impossible stuff coming out about sundry Republicans at the time, and I could tell this was all specifically designed to thwart Rove's juggernaut. It totally worked. I thought at the time, being certain that Dubya and Darth Fudd were the worst possible nightmare for America, that there had to be a faction at the top looking out for us.
Silly me.
Clearly, they were worse... much worse.
