I go to Mail Online despite all the tabloid crap and it being owned by Murdoch for a number of reasons. I don't get nearly as upset by the despicable social engineering crap there as I do when it purports to be a "progressive" publication. There are lots of posts about animals and nature and science there you don't get without going to a shitload more sites every day. And sometimes when I'm at my wit's end I zombie out on the celebrity crap on the right sidebar. Not very often, but sometimes, and enough to be able to assure you that no matter who it is you find on that sidebar, it can't hold a candle to Marilyn, or others from her era. I think they are secure enough in their complete ownership of the under forty crowd that they can safely throw us codgers a bone once in a while.
