And haven't they been reminding us our whole lives that the mark of a really intelligent person is when one realizes how much one doesn't know? And did they ever envision googling things almost exclusively coming up with people using their websites to blather all around the outside of the information they swear is in the book they want to sell you? Did they grok how dizzy and demoralized that can make someone who can't pay twenty-five bucks for a half pound packet of grass fed beef jerky?
Anyway, I thought it was cool to run across someone addressing the very question of my day on the day in question. It helps greatly that he doesn't seem to have his head up his ass either. Far superior to the snooty dunces in ivory towers pumping swill out over the landscape.

Joe Rogan had a good podcast tonight where he debunked some of the debunkers and quacks who have been on his podcast. I got a lot out of it, including getting turned onto a new nutritionist who's doing research in subjects fairly near to my heart. I'm not happy she couldn't tune him up on words like "parenteral" and "alimentary"... but... heavy sigh... those are MD words I guess....
