It just rained for about fifteen minutes. It's supposed to rain more tonight. I'm concentrating on it hurrying over to Happy Camp, even though we're not expected to get much drought relief from this system. It'll be enough to make the roads slick, probably, but not enough to dampen the dryness for long. I'm imagining the cold air in this system hitting the hot air over the fire and making more rain out of it than it brought. That seems reasonable to me. That maybe the stupid 60% containment thing will jump to 100% containment by tomorrow because the firefighters will leap on whatever progress the precipitation might allow. I hate that fucker scorching away wilderness day in and day out. Enough is enough already.

Maybe I need to get a hotline to the person in charge so I can stop obsessing on this. Internet notwithstanding, acres and acres of information everywhere you want to look, my questions are not being answered... or my demands. And they're too fucking slow to update this stuff! We oughta be able to have it in real time by now.
