WHUT?

Sunday, 10am. That's not radar. That's satellite. But still. Whut? WTF is that?

Yes, I saw it going all counterclockwise-y last night, obviously, but thought it was just fighting high pressure and going to win. Well...? It's still doing it and pushing north and back west as it does it. Is it going to come full circle and then smack us per forecast? Or is our monster going to drown Oregon instead?

What don't I grok about these visual aids? They don't add up. They don't add up a LOT of the time. I tend to trust the radars the most because I can check their veracity by looking or going outside, but the satellites seriously often heavily conflict with any groundtruthing I try to do and all the ways to crosscheck online.

My coffee is cold and my head is spinning.

We are, like halfway through the forecast window for this monster ass storm and, though it has brought some rain to more of the state, its purported monstertude is, like, not happening....

...

Okay, smartasses, a power outage just when it's the least rainy or windy of all is total bullshit. Okay? Okay? That was horse shit... not to mention disorienting.

always and any time....
