RAINFALL WILL ACCOMPANY THIS SYSTEM AND WILL LEAD TO RAPID RISES
ON RIVERS AND SMALL STREAMS WITH FLOODING POSSIBLE IN LOW LYING
AND URBAN AREAS.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY
EVENING...

THE FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* A PORTION OF NORTHWEST CALIFORNIA...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING
AREAS...MENDOCINO COAST...MENDOCINO INTERIOR...NORTH COAST
INTERIOR...REDWOOD COAST AND UPPER TRINITY RIVER.

* FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING

* A STRONG STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING 3 TO 6 INCHES OF RAIN TO THE
AREA. LOCAL AMOUNTS TO 9 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE OVER HIGHER
TERRAIN AND ON THE SOUTHWEST FACING SLOPES.

* RIVERS AND SMALL STREAMS WILL RISE RAPIDLY AND LOW LYING AREAS
MAY BECOME FLOODED.
I'm not looking forward to the power outage, but since it's supposed to keep up like this for so many days, I don't know how I'm going to miss it.

Everybody's been in town stocking up on supplies for the last two days. It's seemed almost like what you might call downright metropolitan around here because of that.

I got some brandy.
