I know that overuse of antimicrobial soaps is bad because it kills off the skin commensals you want to have protecting you from the bad guys, but I don't think I remember hearing that triclosan was outright carcinogenic. It's in a lot of stuff you use every day. So beside screwing with your natural immunity mechanisms, it tries to kill you anyway.
